Elisabeth Peeters holds a position as Principal Scientist in Worldwide Research, Development and Medical at Pfizer, Groton CT. She is a Pharmacist by training, with and additional Master’s degree in Industrial Pharmacy, from the University of Antwerp, Belgium. She obtained her PhD Degree in Pharmaceutical Technology at Ghent University (Belgium), where she also completed a 2-year PostDoc in Pharmaceutical Process Analytical Technology.

Elisabeth joined Pfizer in September 2016 as a member of the SpecTech group (Analytical Research and Development), under the supervision of Sonja Sekulic. Currently, she is the PCMM PAT Manufacturing Operations Lead, responsible for the implementation of PAT in Pfizer’s continuous solid dose manufacturing train (PCMM) which includes campaign support, PAT development and optimization work and GMP Qualification/Validation activities.
